Bridget's feedback:
"You've put together a solid if rather disorganized description of the film's plot, so keep your whole audience in mind. Someone who hasn't seen it will struggle to follow the details, and even someone who has seen it (i.e., me) gets rather lost in the breathless presentation. Help your readers out with signposting, transitions, and paragraphing. Consider what details are key to understanding the plot and what may not need to be highlighted; more efficient descriptions may also help with this (for example, you might combine the two sentences about Doc's health, para. 1, into a single briefer explanation).
I'm curious if the main task is to simply provide a summary, or if your prompt is looking for more analysis. If its the latter, this writeup is a good step forward. You have the main events and characters on the page--read over these and see what you emphasize (what themes, conflicts, and similar). I notice you end on love and relationships, for example, which could build up toward a thesis.
Keep your own tone in mind as well. The opening is pretty dismissive, forcing the reader to try to catch up with your position and approach. Are you critiquing the film's claims to historical accuracy? Do you just not care? Should the reader not care? This could lead into an interesting essay about history as fantasy, but that's not the direction the essay takes. Also, since the main conflict begins because people can't carry guns wherever they want, the reader is confused from the start. Style and voice can bring energy and dynamism, but make sure it is controlled and doesn't impact clarity or precision."
