The brutal seas tried to stop the return of Ulysses As he returns it portrayed the events differently in the book then the movie And some of his actions differ from the book The book and the movie differ from each other Because it displays different things and leaves things out And not to mention the different exchanges of objects throughout the book and movieWhen Ulysses first arrives back at home in the movie it seems that he doesnt have the treasure to bring back as in the book Because in the book it says he hides it in a cave However in the movie he returns washed up on the shore of Ithaca With nothing nevertheless the clothes on his back Also he does not disguise himself as a beggar as he returns to Ithaca because he is beaten and torn from his long journey across the see He returns to his mentors house once he arrives and is recognized right away And before he went to his castle athenia disguised Ulysses as a beggar and exclaimed only his son would recognize him When he arrived to the castle people only saw him as a beggar and no one elseAs Ulysses is in the castle no one is messing with him Because no one recognizes him except for his nurse because she declaired she has only seen some scars on only one person and that was Ulysses He tells her not to mention it to no one Just as his wife has given up and set the challenges for her suitors Ulysses true identity was reviled by athenia When he shot the arrow through all the axe rings At the end of the chapter in the book it says that 4 men fighting the suitors But in the movie only Ulysses and Telemachus fight the suitorsUlysses return to Ithaca was successful in many ways as he was restored to power in his kingdom And
