Baptism A definition of baptism I found states happy is our sacrament of water in that by washing away the sins of our early blindness we are set free and admitted into eternal life I believe this to be a good statement I was baptized at the age of ten and when I was baptized I had no idea what the event meant or stood for I took part in this event because my parents told me it was a good thing to do and I needed to be baptized for my religion At the time I was baptized I thought to myself why are the people being dipped in a bathtub I had no idea what it was meant for and I could not comprehend why this event was so important At the time I was baptized it did not change anything in my life because I was too young and did not know the meaning of the event Communal Worship Communal worship for me happened when I was an infant to the age of about seventeen I was basically forced to go because that is what my parents wanted me to do When I was a young child I started to realize this was a good thing for me I enjoyed going to church mainly because it was fun The church I belonged to when I was young was named The First Church of God This church was a very interactive church meaning it had a lot of activities going on at once which was very good for a child not to get bored The church made everything very interesting for a child to grasp the concept of God and what he was trying to do for us When I left the church it was not my decision it was mainly the work schedule I had at the time that did not allow me to attend When I look back on this event
