This is what was achieved in 35 minutesSocial drugs are the types of drugs people take on occasion to give them a feeling of relaxation or lots of energy Theyre banned in sporting because they give an unfair advantage over ones opponents Illegal drugs differ in the main fact that they are taken because the user wants a high not a performance stimulant They may include hallucinogenics which would never be taken with sports Illegal drugs are taken for a number of reasons such as to rebel peer pressure to socialize as an experience or just to fit in Another difference is that social drugs or performance enhancing drugs dont have the addictive effects or severe negative side effects including death as illegal drugsSome religions believe that using drugs for self-gain or non-medicinal purposes is wrong Christianity believes that the human body is a temple and that it is therefore sacred and precious and should not be tampered with In Corinthians it says Your body is a temple They also think that because some can alter the mind they can make people do bad things Muslims believe that medicinal drugs are the only drugs that are appropriate to take They believe that intoxicants are Haram meaning that they are not permitted within the faith They also say that drugs and alcohol are satanic devicesIf an athlete was a believer in a religion or faith hisher view on performance drugs may be skewered heshe would less reluctant to take them if they were a Christian for example Christians believe that the body of a human is a temple and using performance enhancing drugs is surely changing that temple against Gods will However performance enhancing drugs dont have the addictive side effects of illegal drugs and they wont cause as severe side effects as illegal drugs this may make them more inclined to take the drug But this all depends on your definition of drug if all
