Have you ever been called cute during a conversation You know that you are wearing the same kind of outfit and hairstyle since the beginning of the school year so why is that person calling you cute If you listen closely to how the word is used then you can tell if they are telling you something nice or mean In some situations the word cute can be used as dumb child-like or smartFor the first example I am going to show you how my friend Marissa uses the word cute to mean dumb Marissa and I were talking about the move Princess and the Frog in the lunch room in Kathleen High Monica came over and listened to the conversation When she came over I begin to tell my favorite part of the movie I said My favorite part in the movie was when Prince Naveen said to Charlotte that Tiana was his Evangeline meaning that he is deeply in love with Tiana like Ray is in love with the brightest start in the sky and Tiana ran to him and told him that her dream would not be completed without him in it because he was going to kiss Charlotte so she could give money to Tiana so she could buy her restaurant Monica and Marissa looked at each other and at the same time they asked why I replied Because Prince Naveen is confessing that he is in love with Tiana and Tiana is confessing that she is in love with him It is so romantic Then Marissa said while laughing Stephanie you are so cute With a confused face I asked Marissa what she meant by the word cute She replied Stephanie I meant dumb In shocked I asked Why Still laughing and she replied This is a Disney movie nothing of it is true You actually believe that two people from different countries spend a few days together and fall
