The most important considerations schools and communities face when developing sports and physical education programs for public schools would have to be whether the sports will hurt the students mentally or physically and if the student will gain knowledge of their health I believe that teachers should focus on competition and skill instruction equally because it encourages the students to be active concentrate on being healthier lead them to a brighter future teach them how to work in a team and gives the students powerful emotions that bring out the best in them Teachers should also focus on each child and their progress in class so that equality can also be put into place The first thing I would consider is whether competition within the students in the sport programs is fair and being watched over carefully Teachers should encourage competition during physical education courses and in team sports In other things like doing cardio the teachers should not hold competition against the students because once students are being compared for how many push-ups they can do they start to lose confidence in themselves Competition can push people to do better though but it should be watched over carefully Some students dont like to be compared and it doesnt push them to do better but for some other students comparisons can push them I would just make sure jokes or remarks about one another arent said in the classroom to prevent insecurities What students and adults need to know is that competition is needed at times in a physical setting to motivate other students to aim high for a healthier body or a better score Like in class the smartest student always makes other students feel bad about their grades but if we didnt keep record of everyones grades how would we know whos working hard or not And how would the students who didnt do so well on their assignment be pushed to
