"Your essay is structured well, and all the critical elements you would expect to see in an argumentative essay are present. Adding a couple of paragraphs on the history of agriculture strengthened your work by giving readers some good background information to consider when reading through your argument. Of your supporting points, your paragraph on how agriculture has allowed for a steady increase in the human population is the weakest one because you never address in that paragraph why an increased population is a good thing. You do talk about the benefits of an increased population in the paragraph on technological developments though, so you could do some reorganizing to add more content to your weakest body paragraph. Finally, you strike a rather casual tone with your writing. If you want to achieve a more academic tone, you should avoid using contractions and only use rhetorical questions once or twice in a given work."
