Bridget's feedback:
"I really appreciate the honesty and frankness of your voice and approach. Depending on your prompt, will you need to bring the discussion back to Dillard's book at the end of the essay? If the main task is to engage with Dillard's text, I recommend doing so; if the project emphasizes first the reflective writing, you may not need to. Check against your prompt and decide from there.
I also wonder if you can give an example in para. 2 about a metaphor that "clicked" after your mother gave her advice. I mention this because I found the inchworm example in para. 1 helpful in understanding what Dillard's book is like and in engaging with your experience with the text.
My other main comment is regarding typos and errors. Some of these may be a file formatting issue (quotation marks seem to have been replaced with spaces). Make sure to tidy these up to prevent confusion and clarity issues for your reader."
