Why do I want to attend FIT What makes me a perfect candidate for FIT Ever since I was a kid I always wanted to be a doctor But as I grew up I tend to find fashion more and more interesting every day The way people dress inspires me to explore the world of fashion and maybe one day to create my own trend Till this day fashion has become a lifestyle for me To attend a school by people with the same dreams and ambition theres just no comparison I feel that attending FIT will bring me one step closer to achieving my goal This is the reason why I want to attend FIT and study Fashion Marketing and Management My parents and family are very supportive of me They also inspired me to pursue my dream and make it a realityIve always thought coming to America not knowing any English was difficult For example how am I going to communicate with the other kids Would it take me years to learn English How my life is going to change by living in America My family and I immigrated to New York about eleven years ago for better job opportunities and better education Come to find out learning English was not difficult at all It took a couple of months for me to get familiar with new places environment and people You can say that coming to America is one of the greatest experiences Ive had I am grateful my uncle brought my family and me here If it wasnt for him I wouldnt have a chance to write this essay about myself I have always looked up to Lady Gaga as my fashion icon Her personality and the way she dressed inspires me to be myself because I was born this way Her song Born This Way is considered the main LGBT Lesbian Gay Bi-sexual and Trans-sexual anthem Because of Lady Gaga
