"You successfully discuss different ways in which Marx influenced the Russian Revolution of 1917, but parts of your work would benefit from further revision. For example, you repeat many of the same points in your first and second body paragraphs, so your essay would be stronger if you drew sharper lines between how Marx was essential to the revolution before it began and while it was occurring. In addition, you should keep in mind that the New Economic Policy is attributed to Lenin, not Marx. Thus, it’s inaccurate to say that Marx was the one who implemented it. Moreover, if you’re going to abbreviate the term “New Economic Policy,” the abbreviation should be provided after the first time the term appears in your work. The abbreviation should be used throughout the rest of the paper, and no quotes are needed for the term “New Economic Policy.” You should also consistently capitalize or lowercase “communism.” Since you write it more often in lowercase, it would be easier to switch all instances of the capitalized word to its lowercased version."
