"You are off to a good start with this essay. With your three supporting ideas backed up using evidence directly from the text organized as part of a clear essay structure, your higher-order concerns are in a good place. I do question the efficiency and efficacy of the final body paragraph, which gives information about the context and the stakes of your thesis. Have you considered presenting that discussion to start off the body of the essay? Or, alternatively, seeding description of the different opinions across the current first three body paragraphs to show how it all comes together?

Regarding lower-order concerns, somewhat frequent awkward phrasing and diction gets in the way of the discussion, including the phrase "stand up to the fact that..."; I wonder if "stand up for...", "defend", or "doesn't back down from..." might better capture your point. You will also want to bring your citations and line spacing into alignment with your assigned style guide."
