"Your essay has a nice foundation, and you've done a good job pulling quotes from your sources to help support your argument. I do wonder if your argument needs some tweaking, though. Your paper sets out to argue that supermax prisons are better for prisoners, but your topic sentences through the first page and a half seem to show why the institutions aren't being run properly and that they can't control prisoners. Is that really the "best" solution for prisoners? From a purpose/organizational perspective, it's confusing to state that your argument will be what's good about supermax prisons and then talk about the issues with them. In an argumentative essay, you do want to present the other side, but you want to do it strategically and with counterpoints that back up your argument. You might need to do a bit of reorganizing and restructuring to bring your reasoning and arguments to the first part of the paper. It would also benefit you to proofread and edit the essay before submission since there are quite a few grammar errors and typos throughout the essay."
