"Now that you have your main points organized on the page, your next steps will depend on your essay's purpose. If this is, for example, a brief oral presentation or pep talk, you'll want a different rhetorical balance (ethos, pathos, logos) than for a persuasive essay, which will demand sources and more explicit signposting and transitions to give your argumentation sinew. Whatever the genre, the transition into, for example, the fourth body paragraph, should be strengthened, and make sure to properly format your paragraphs -- the hanging indent makes this document look like an outline, further troubling a reader's grasp of the purpose. Keep in mind that presentation is likewise a rhetorical decision and that the reader depends on visual cues as well as the writing. Related, make sure to proofread for minor errors and typos (capitalization, missing commas)."
