As the business world progresses more and more families have working mothers and fathers Work days are longer than school days so the children must parent themselves Older children may be able to care for themselves but younger children and those not yet in school are off to day-care The family structure needed for a young child simply isnt present Americas family life is plummeting because children are growing up in day-cares While it is true that children learn people skills at day-cares they dont receive a loving family feeling Children at young ages need a family love that deals with their needs Pre-preschool years are critical Children learn at this time communicating skills not through playing with other children but through loving communication with their families It is true that many parents dont have the money to stay home and watch the kids Day-cares however are not the only option Many people watch children at home as a job The clustered rushed environment of day-cares in no way compares with the environment of these home-sitters This environment is more like a home and the child shares more of a one-on-one relationship with their sitter feeling a sense of love and belonging While many day-cares do try to give a sense of love to the children it is practically and logically impossible for day-care workers to give each child a parent-child love Not only do the children outnumber the workers but many children also dont connect in strange environments Children need the love of parents that day-cares are unable to provide because of the plethora of children Although not all day-care workers are as evil as Medea many day-care workers abuse and neglect the children Running wild screaming crying and whining the children fly around and many times the workers are rough with them Whether this cruelty be out of a cruel nature or frustration workers abuse or completely neglect the children This
