Please be sure you are giving a focus statement in your introduction, letting the reader know the purpose of your paper. When organizing your work, let’s make sure you are concluding your paper, giving the audience a summary of your paper and a takeaway for the reader. You want the essay to feel as though it is finalized. When you write your paper in MLA style, let’s make sure you are reviewing your guidelines for placement and format of your in-text citations and your works cited page. You also want to be sure your font is uniform throughout the essay (same color, size, style, etc.) Let’s be sure you are spacing all of your lines evenly throughout the document. A solid round of editing would be beneficial to ensure any issues of punctuation, sentence structure, and sentence fragments are resolved before submitting your work."
