Arnold Schwarzenegger The book I read was Arnold Schwarzenegger written by Daniel Bial Arnold was very dedicated to bodybuilding He once broke a window at the gym to workout on a Sunday and conditions there were so harsh that more than once his hands froze to the weight bars Arnold has great perseverance at his first Mr Universe contest Arnold finished second He was the audience favorite but the judges felt his legs need work Arnold took the criticism to heart The next time he went to the gym he cut his trousers off above the knee He wanted everyone there to make fun of his legs so that he would work harder on that part of his body Arnold was very ambitious growing up After one contest a judge asked him what his lifes ambitions were The judge was expecting him to say he wanted to be Mr Britain Mr Universe etc Arnold on the other hand had made big plans for the rest of his life Arnold said I will come to America which is the country for me Once there I will become the greatest bodybuilder in historyI will go into movies as an actor producer and eventually director By the time Im thirty I will have starred in my first movie and I will be a millionaire The Terminator is respectful Growing up his father Gustav was a tough father He held contests to see which of his sons were better at running boxing skiing and doing their homework Arnold lost most of the competitions to his brother and was humiliated in doing so by his father but he always respected him and only tried harder Mr Universe was sly at the Mr Olympia contest the finals featured Arnold versus Oliva After a few minutes of side-by-side posing Arnold told Oliva he was done and the two agreed to exit the stage Oliva walked off but Arnold stopped turned
