In what subject areas are you an expert?

Through a time-travelling accident, I have spent more years at university than I have been alive. Over the years, I have become highly qualified in the areas of developmental, social, and clinical psychology, and philosophy.

What types of documents do you enjoy editing the most?

I am most experienced with the editing of academic articles, but I enjoy any work where I get to learn something new. I've examined all manner of interesting business documents, legal letters, blog posts, and book chapters since I began work as a professional editor and am pleased to say that I've learned a lot from the material I've read.

What do you do when you’re not editing on Kibin?

When I'm not doing editing work, I'm pretending to write my PhD thesis, but as soon as everyone's back is turned I return to writing my latest Dungeons and Dragons adventure or tweaking the design of whatever board game I happen to be working on.

I was born and raised up in a country where English is not a mother tongue, so I usually do now know not only the common phrasing, such as "alma mater", but also when to use capital letters. James has just corrected my unusual phrasing, suggesting a better way to express it. Moreover, he has also reduced total word counts, which is really helpful.
